Things
So I have loads of work to do, but It’s good if I can get it all done. Ill be almost completely caught up with my work if i finish everything today, aside from a makeup test I have to do. It’ll be a big weight off my shoulders to get all these papers out of the way. A day or two ago I listed everything I have to do, I should do, and I want to do. It really helped me get my mind around it and is making the tasks seem much much more manageable. I think I like this whole.. organizational gimmick.
Almost everything on my Want to do list are design projects for people who’s cause I want to support.. The Fat Soul website, the upcoming Hip-Hop show poster, the jewel case and cd designs for the 2008 Missions Conference.
It’s interesting because yesterday I became almost set on going to Endicott for design. Also the message at Bethany last night was from this guy Judd, it was titled What’s your purpose?. He wanted to be a filmmaker and such but thought it was just a passion, so he was going to put it aside to pursue other things, but ended up getting an offer to film and document these mission trips and such. It made me think that our passions and our purposes may not be as far away from eachother as some may think, they should compliment eachother.
Right now my passion is Design, and I’m starting to think it’ll tie into my purpose. We’ll see!
